MEET THE TEAM
Jim became a member of RICS in 1980 and was elected a Fellow of the RICS in 1989. As well as running the practice he is experienced in Listed Buildings, detailed planning applications and appeals, design and contract issues and all aspects of Building Surveying. His knowledge of the Wells area and its buildings is unparalleled – both as a lifelong local resident and as a professional Building Surveyor.
Nicholas joined db+PAUL in 2014 and has since successfully managed a variety of challenging home conversion and extension projects with his natural flair for project management and forward-thinking building designs using AutoCAD.
He is currently undertaking his APC pathway to achieve Chartered status with the RICS, and previously completed his RICS and CIOB-accredited degree in Building Surveying at Anglia Ruskin University.
Neil has many years’ experience of working on a wide variety of projects from inception through to completion.
Neil manages the architectural projects and heads up the Design Team and would be pleased to discuss your design ideas and offer his expertise in new build and refurbishment projects.
Architectural Technologist – Brian Fletcher BSc (Hons)
The newest member of the db+PAUL team, Brian obtained his degree in Architectural Technology from Northumbria University in 2012. Before joining db+PAUL he spent over 3 years building an impressive portfolio of work as a structural technician, including the refurbishment of the north nave aisle roof of Wells Cathedral. Brian is proficient in Revit to Level 2 and is also able to create spectacular 3D visuals of his building designs.
Linda has an HNC in Construction and Property and has previously worked extensively with AutoCAD on various projects, including measured surveys and space planning for NHS Salford.
She is currently studying part-time to achieve a BA (Hons) degree in Architectural Technology at Southampton Solent University.
Jeni is usually your first point of contact at db+PAUL as secretary to Jim Paul, and is responsible for the the day to day running of the office. Jeni will be pleased to arrange appointments and advise you of our services, particularly with regard to Building Surveys and RICS Homebuyers Reports. She also carries out general office administration and correspondence.
Jeni is the office emergency first aider.
Amy is responsible for the business administration of db+PAUL, looking after the accounts, collating staff time sheets and processing project information before sending out fee accounts to clients.
She also keeps the business paperwork up to date, oversees Health & Safety in the office, and generally ensures that the db+PAUL office operates smoothly .
